John (Jack) Olsen, was recently honored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association for his 44 years in the banking industry. Presenting the plaque is Rose Oswald Poels, President and CEO of the Wisconsin Bankers Association.
Jack graduated UW-River Falls in 1972 and worked for Farm Credit System in both Green Bay and Manitowoc as a Loan Office/Branch Manager for 13 years. He joined Denmark State Bank in 1985 until his recent retirement on October 7, 2016.
Denmark State Bank has been named a finalist in the Business Category for the 2016 Ethics in Business Award. Hosted by the American Foundation of Counseling Services (AFCS), the Ethics in Business Awards seeks to foster a climate of ethical integrity in northeast Wisconsin and promote the connection between greater well-being, stronger families, ethical business environments and healthy communities. The Ethics in Business Awards highlights positive models of ethical behavior – those who champion universal ethical principles.
Nearly 80 individuals and companies were nominated for three awards in the categories of Individual, Business and Non-Profit. From the 80 entries, 11 finalists were selected. Award criteria included demonstrating both business excellence and the highest standards of values such as civic and social responsibility, integrity, and ethical conduct.
